There was something magical about exploring the photo opportunities at that old barn. There were all sorts of things to capture on film; like this corner with its open door, twisting vine and crooked window. The invitation to climb over the debris and explore the inside of the barn was overwhelming, but I my inner voice of reason knew it might not be a good idea alone, so I resisted. This shot is one of my favorites from the day and this little corner also held the greatest mystery. Notice the little blue jewelry box down in the left hand corner. Who left it and why? I will never know.
Thanks Roe Jan- restraint, yes, but even more the fear that some little critter with a long tail might jump out and scare me! (Not to mention the reptile possiblities as well- I am a coward when it comes to creepy crawly things that hiss (o: )
I did peek inside and what I saw was stalls! Lots and lots of stalls! It was an old dairy barn, so I'm sure they were filled with cows once upon a time. I would have loved to see it when it was fully operating. Thanks for the comment!
