The recent rain has filled the streams and brooks again. Buttermilk Falls is tumbling away and you could easily drive right past them if you didn't know they were there. I knew they'd make lovely shot, so I made it a point to go and photograph them. The sound of the rushing water brought two verses from a favorite pslam to mind:
Deep calls to deep at the sound of Thy waterfalls;
All Thy breakers and Thy waves have rolled over me.
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life.
Thank you Allison! Thank you Roe Jan. That happens a lot- either from a picture I'm viewing or one I've taken- the Scriptures just seem to come pouring out. I know you both can relate to that. Have a blessed day!
@melissapike Thanks Melissa- If you're talking about Ithaca NY, this would have been a little bit of a drive for you since these were taken in Eastern PA. But I'm learning there a lot of Buttermilk Falls- one of my followers lives in Western PA. and she had a shot of Buttermilk Falls too- only they weren't the same ones! Thanks for the comment!
@olivetreeann LOL Too funny! It's such an odd name for a waterfall that I figured it had to be the same one, but apparently it's less odd than I thought if there are at least three of them!
