Oh, I am so proud of myself today! This collage was supposed to be yesterday's post, but I am not, shall we say, totally in the 21st century yet. I am computer challenged for sure! Even the title of today's collage indicates where I am when it comes to electronic things. Do they actually make cassette tapes still? Anyway, I finally figured out how to get this photo software downloaded, the pictures in-loaded and finally the collage up-loaded! Now I'm off to find a black and white photo for July's theme! Have a great day everyone!
@digitalrn Thanks Rick- I did go out on the web and downloaded Picnik instead of using it in 365. I think that made the difference. Thanks for the tip yesterday!
We are all computer challenged because they never work the way that we want them too! I have to laugh about using cassette tapes. Yes, I still use them...in my summer school class! We listened to a book on tape during it. I think it was also a lesson in old technology for my students. haha!
@roejan@mrssmith@kerristephens@jmj Thank you all- Roe Jan, Mrs. Smith, Kerri and Jennifer! I think I love doing the collages because they are so much like photo scrapbooking (which I did quite regularly until I started 365!). Up until now I've been using the photo program that came with the computer, but I felt it was a bit limited at times, so I wanted something with more options- enter Picnik. If you don't have it yet Jennifer, I highly recommend it. And Mrs. Smith, the funny thing about these "old" things, they fascinate the younger generations. Our older son has made it very clear that when we are finished with all our albums (yes-even older than cassettes-vinyl!!!), he wants them! He prefers the warmer tones of that type of recording. It's humorous to see how different things come in and go out in popularity. That's post-modernism for you!
Nicely done-- both figuring out what to do and creating this very interesting pair of images. Now I think you should frame it for thevwall. Another challenge!
