Woodpile Collage

This morning brought some dry weather, so I was out at the woodpile again. I decided it would be fun to document my progress, hour by hour. So, in the top left corner, it's a 10:30 a.m. start time, and the pile is rather large. Two pictures later on the top row, it's 11:30 a.m. and the pile is a little smaller, but as you can see by the last picture, the stacked pile has grown. In the second row, I continue stacking and by 12:30, the last picture in that row shows I've made even more progress. The final row begins with the last shot of the wood which needs to be stacked. The second picture was taken at 1:00 p.m., when I finally decided it was lunch time! The section is done and the wood to be stacked is at least half the size it was in the beginning. Last picture, one final glance from the deck. Phew! I think I earned my keep today!
Nicely done, now that is what I call a days work, time to put your feet up I am thinking

@sarah19 @cimes1 Thank you Carole. Thank you Sarah This is my exercise program for the fall- it's a very good cardio workout (along with swimming in the pool). (o: Come winter, I move on to weight lifting and muscle toning when I carry it all inside to be burned in the wood stove!!

@bruni You will love Cape May! I think the whole town is on our national historic registry. We love the row of houses on the ocean- especially the one with the captain's watch. There is also a beautiful Victorian called The Mainstay- unique columns on that one. And if you like antiques and such, there is a wonderful house tour. Have a wonderful time!!
