My tag challenge words were definitely a challenge this time! Heart and reflection. I am not so much a hearts and flowers kind of person- so first I had to find a subject lying around! Enter something my mother gave me when I was engaged. I've always liked it because it is made out of pewter and came from Sturbridge Village in MA. Now for the reflection. I didn't want to do anything typcial- so I went for an unusual angle and an incomplete reflection. Add a little cross processing, matte finish and selective coloring and voila! What do you think?

In a slight time crunch this evening to view all the pictures and say thank you for your comments, so I resorting to a blanket thank you to one and all! I so appreciate your positive feedback. I had my doubts about this one.
@alia_801 Thank you Alia! It looked ok with just the reflection, but I felt it needed a little something- hence the selective coloring. @geertje Thank you Geertje! I know you would have come up with something just as creative- for example, I love the one of you sitting by the big book! @prttblues Thank you Bev!!
@steeler Thank you Howard! @adobewaters Thanks Adobe- I used the Cross-processing effect for these. First time I tried it and I really liked how they gave the picture a vintage feel. @michaelelliott Thank you Michael!
Thank you all- I can't tell you how much these encouraging words mean to me!
Ann, I like the fact that you used something with a memory tied in, and as you were considering its meaning to you, you added another type of "reflection" to the mix, reflecting on your mother, your engagement and the place it came from.
@becksesme Thank you Rebekah!
