Relying on a pre-snapped picture today as it's going to be a very busy one and I can't spend much time this morning on the computer. I thought the Red Pepper would be a nice follow up to yesterday's green pepper. But now I'm having second thoughts- it reminds me of a certain holiday in which snow plays a large part. And with the weathermen threatening us with a doozy of a storm today the last thing I want to drive around in is snow! Have a great day everyone- I'll attempt to catch up on your photos tomorrow!
it's not even november and why are people uttering the 's' word?!?
but see, here's another flashcard. i'll sit in jack's pants for a moment: i see blood, curdling from the blow inflicted on the victim, with what appears to be a...what the...pepper stem?!?!
years ago, i was given that test in school and the doctors and teachers can't get anything out of me. where other students see blood or some spooky imagined things, i would only say 'inkblots on a folded paper'. i guess i was the only kid who had a grasp on reality. hmmm...maybe it's the other way around. now, this gets me thinking.
Beautiful colors! I know it rained, sleeted and snowed where I am too but the ground wasn't frozen so it was just a pretty nice day to stay inside and delve into the hedonistic pleasures of hot chocolate with peppermint...
@changingtides Thanks Allie- we made home slowly and safely- thanks for caring! @bruni Thanks Bruni! It was a pretty pepper and tasty too! @dmariewms Thank you Marie- I do hope you stayed safe. We are fine but it really took a long time to get home! @steeler Thanks Howard! @summerfield Thanks Summerfield! Yes, I definitely think you are a person with a wonderfully creative grasp on reality- and that's a good thing! Sadly, though the "s" came on strong even though I didn't believe it would! @httpgeffed Thank you Colleen!
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @digitalrn Thanks Rick- no real editing on this one- sooc with some sharpening. It was truly that red. We spent some wonderful time with my family remembering "Uncle Ted"- a great man. The snow storm made travel home slow, but we got here safely. @tanyasamol Thank you Tanya- it does have a floral feel to it. @geertje Thank you Geertje! I suppose they could look that way if you didn't really know what they were. I just thought the patterns were so interesting. @cimes1 Thanks Carole! @mrssmith Thanks Carla- yes it is too early, but apparently Mother Nature didn't get the memo. @melorac Thank you Carole- we managed to get home safely in spite of the storm, but we did see about 6 accidents on the way. Yes, it does have a floral feel to it, doesn't it? @alia_801 Thanks Alia- we stayed safe- but the drive home was very loooonnng! @bk12racing Thank you Mike!
@adobewaters Thanks Adobe! @sanera Thanks Samantha! We did stay safe- just drove slowly- we love our little Subaru and its all wheel drive! @potsbypam Thanks Pam! Oooo- hot chocolate and peppermint! Yum!!
@kloud Thanks Bonnie- totally inspired by your onion shot! I took a photo of an onion that night too- haven't posted it yet though. Anyway- I am often amazed at how you shoot some of the most common things and make them look so interesting. That has helped me to be more observant about these things too. So thanks again!
