I took a picture of this plant back in the summer, but at that time I shot it in sepia (see May 15 of my Themes and Competitions Album). Today as I got out of the car, I saw it again and was struck by how soft and lovely its green leaves looked against the brown leaves which had fallen from the trees.

Thanks to all- this shot has really grown on me! At first I thought it was a quick shot to accomplish the "shot for the day" but it's one of those natural things that is so beautiful just as it is that you keep going back to look at it again and again.
