I was walking through the living room of Becky and Erick's house when this sun catcher caught my eye. And as I was climbing on the couch to get a close-up, I realized that there was more than one flower to be captured in this picture.
@sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! @steeler Thanks Howard! @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen!
Thanks to all- this is one of my favorite shots from the visit. I just like how I was able to capture Erick's beautiful stone work in contrast to the sun catcher. Black and white was really the way to go. In color it looked like b/w but without the contrasts.
@espyetta You're right! Thanks MaryBeth. I was really torn because I really like this one! But how can override the face of a beautiful child??! @summerfield Thank you Summerfield. It had to be b/w. Although there was not much color in reality, it translated better as a true b/w. @crickle1969 Thank you Crickle. I like jumping back and forth between color and b/w. I think b/w sharpens your color skills and color sharpens your b/w skills.
