I was helping a friend out with her Christmas shopping today since she's unable to drive. We went into town and parked in order for her to go in and out of the shops on Main Street. As we were heading back to the car, something cool and red caught my eye- a beautiful cherry red Corvette! Photo Op!!!
@changingtides Thanks Allie! @cimes1 Thanks Carole- well I don't think I'd want a cherry red Hummer, but then, I wouldn't want a Hummer period! @httpgeffed He might Colleen, he just might! lol- thanks! @dmariewms Thanks Marie!
Well, that's gonna catch anybody's eye . . WOW! GREAT catch, Ann. And you took it at the perfect angle. Nice going. Hope that you had fun shopping too. You're a trooper . . always carrying that camera. :)
@sarasdadandmom Oops- I kept hitting reply but didn't see your name come up! Anyway- Thanks Terry! lol- Corvettes are definitely cool, awesome cars. And I always admire their design. But honestly- I'd rather have a classic Mustang- blue. Now all I have to do is become rich and famous. @pandorasecho I have never driven one- but I have ridden in one. They're a little hard to get in and out of! But it would be cool to drive along the cost in one- that's true. @kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @digitalrn Thanks Rick- that's a nice dream!
Wow what a color. wouldn't have to press the panic button if you forgot where you parked in these overcrowded parking lots at this time of the year. Ann this is a great catch.
Yes Ann I did exactly that..I was trying to find where and how I can layer some pictures but I guess this wasn't the right way. since you're using picnic I haven't figured out what a brush stroke does if any..oh so much to learn..I might have to google layering and see what I can come up with. Thanks Ann for all your wonderful comments.
@cortens Thank you Julie! @bkbinthecity Thank you bkb! @bruni Thank you Bruni! Haha- yes bright red and anything neon would never need the panc button! And as far as I know brush stroke is the size of the area you're working on. In some of the effects you can make that area larger or smaller depending on your needs. For an example of that you might recall the picture (my second album in October when I was photographing squares) where I had just a red pan hanging on a black and white wall. In that one I used the focal black and white- I think- and made the brush just cover the area of the pan. I hadn't thought about it but I think on those effects where you have the option of choosing- normal, harden, difference, lighten, etc.- that some of those options might be this layering idea. I haven't really figured out what those things mean. I wonder if the Picnik Tour covers that. I guess I should take it someday! Thanks again- and happy exploring!
@geertje Thank you Geertje! Although I love the look of the Corvette, and I think the same of the MG Spitfire, my classic car of choice would be a '64 or '65 Ford Mustang in metallic blue. Yeah- cool car!!
@cimes1 Thanks Carole- well I don't think I'd want a cherry red Hummer, but then, I wouldn't want a Hummer period!
