Christmas Letters

Nothing fancy in the photo department today due to a busy schedule. I finished up my message for the women's ministry meeting tonight, went to the pool and did my laps, came home, had lunch, took a quick picture and want to wrap a few presents before I head out. I enjoy having a busy day every once in a while and I'm looking forward to the gathering tonight. So I'm off and running- hope you all had a fruitful day as well!

In the picture: Ornaments made in India I'm giving as little gifts to my ministry team, my message (red paper clip) and Christmas letters of the past (green paper clip) featuring the first card I sent out when Erick (our oldest) was a baby! Below that is a copy of a note we left for Santa one year.
Those ornaments are really cute

Sorry for the over-site. I usually see your photo everyday. I always check the shot of everyone who comments on mine

@kerristephens Thanks Kerri- they were made in India and are distributed by an organization called 10,000 Villages. They buy and sell arts, crafts, coffee, and jewelry at fair trade prices. I love supporting stuff like this.
@sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry! I've become very committed to keeping up with the swimming. As you know it's worse if I don't do it!

@jml0306 Thanks Joseph! I do appreciate your comments. And I really enjoy seeing your Vermont shots since my dad and sister live there. I'm finding that as my followers grow it's so hard to "quickly" go through the photos and I'm experimenting on ways to reduce my time before my year ends so I can best decide how to approach year two should there be one. I am honored when someone of your caliber takes note of my shots-so thanks again!!

How you did all this in one day amazes me, Ann! I had a busy day also and do like that. But maybe it's too hectic lately. I do love this photo for the memories pictured here. Lovely reminder. :)

A wonderful photo Ann, and the little gifts look wonderful, and I'm sure they will be cherished.

@karenann I do try to pace myself- I don't like the overly hectic days anymore either and usually I like to have the devotion done a few days before, but I was really uninspired until this morning! So it was slightly more down to the wire than usual- and that just meant other things I'd planned on doing didn't get done! Thanks Karenann!
@digitalrn Thanks Rick- I love the 10,000 Villages stuff- it's usually so well made and you're helping out a cottage business somewhere when you buy them. These stars came from India.

What a wonderful gesture, Ann. Those gifts look really special, I'm sure they will be greatly appreciated.

That is a very nice thing for you to do

I have been rereading Christmas letters from 1987 on and they make a fun family journal

Sounds like a crazy day for you! Lovely gifts - I'm sure the recipients will love them :)

Nice Christmas Collection! You sound like a busy bee this holiday season.

Very nice display. Glad to see another who saves cards and letters. But unlike me yours are so beautifully organized. Keep those treasures!

Wow that's quite a display..sure brings back lovely memories.. we all have things that we treasure and bring them out at Christmas time.

@kloud Thank you Bonnie- I just like letting people know how much they are appreciated!
@bkbinthecity Thank you bkb! I care about my team and know how much even a small gesture can mean.
@pandorasecho Thanks Dixie! I usually put them at the end of the yearly photo album when I finish that year in scrapbooking. I haven't gotten to the oldest years yet. And yes- the family history is fun to read!
@alia_801 Thanks Alia- fun, crazy and good to be out and about for a while.
@espyetta Thanks MaryBeth- a semi-busy bee- not as busy as a teacher bee.
@cimes1 Thank you Carole- well these look organized because I had them out for the devotional. I usually keep them in a file folder. Once I finish photo-scrapbooking the year, then I put it with that album. So they're organized in that respect, but not as pretty as this!
@bruni Thank you Bruni! You are so right- many family treasures and memories come out at Christmas! Enjoy yours- I know you will!
