You sped along this road, hit a bump and sent me whirling to the side. I lay there, lost and forgotten until some kind soul hung me on this branch in hopes that you would see me. And still you drive by, day after day, never glancing my way, leaving me here, hanging in disgrace! You hurry past me as I call out, "Missing something!?" But today, someone stopped. Someone paused and stepped out toward me. Would they take me home? Could I be of use to them? No such luck! Instead I am only subject matter- the final ignominy.
It hangs there, day after day, and I wonder if the person who lost it will ever see it!

Apparently it did not belong to the person who hung it up!
