Another crazy, busy day! But I did manage to get out and take a few quick shots. I can't seem to get my brain to slow down and I've been fussing over my processing in Picnik, and I think I've finally settled on this one for the day. But maybe I should have posted the rusty bolts, or that fungi growing on the stacked wood, or maybe the old window sash we use as a weight on the plastic covering that keeps the wood dry, or... time to stop thinking and start viewing your shots instead!
@karenann thanks Karenann- I didn't include this one in the alphabet challenge. X is not a hard one to find, so I'll be doing that one when it comes up at the end of the alphabet. @kimmistephens thanks Kimmi- I didn't include this one in the challenge- there are so many out there. It just seemed natural to name the picture that. @pandorasecho thanks Dixie- oh yes, I do- especially if you're a squirrel! @bkbinthecity thanks Brian. I won't be using this for the alphabet- X is pretty easy to find.
@alia_801 Thank you Alia- that's what drew me to the picture too and why I finally "settled" on it. @digitalrn Thanks Rick. Someone suggested Pixlr (I think that's how it was spelled and I can't find the note with the name on it at the moment), but I haven't had a chance to check it out. @woot Thanks Davide! @adobewaters Thanks Adobe! @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri!
@steeler Thanks Howard- a quick one, but I like it. @la_photographic Thank you Laura! Since there were several interesting textures here, I thought the b/w would bring them out better than any other option.
I am like that most days too...."Which one? which ones do I post?" But then when I hit a busy day where I take no photos until about 6 PM, I am like "how do I EVER get even one shot?" Haha I love the x but even better is that crater in there! Wow. It looks like an oak leaf was pressed into the wood and made it. Very neat.
