One last look at the Grand Old Lady and a few of the shots that didn't get into the essays. From top left to bottom right: A view up the driveway to "Betty", "Buster's" sister; An open door on the back of the Grand Old Lady; the driveway; cupola with weather vane that bears the name "James"; side view of the silos; a peek into Betty's upstairs; shadow of the photographer; and the old farmhouse. There's still a million more photos here and two unphotographed seasons (Summer and Fall- and Spring deserves to be revisited as well), so you can be sure I'll stop here again! But for now, the Lady and I bid you a fond farewell.
Fantastic job, Ann. Really love the cuppola shot and the photographers shadow. :) Well, there's not a bad one in the bunch. What a great journey it's been. Thank you for taking us along. I bid farewell to the Lady . . but NOT to you. :)
Thank you one and all! Sorry for the scare- I am not leaving you, just leaving the presence of the Grand Old Lady and posting pictures of her for a while.
Thank you so much everyone. I am so glad you enjoyed this series and the collage. It is a pleasure to share something close to your heart with people who appreciate the beauty of what you've taken. I really appreciate all your kind words and uplifting comments!
