The only clouds in the sky today were these very strange formations that appeared after I helped my friend Diane decorate the clubhouse for the St. Patrick's Day party. Strange but true!
aren't we a pair of rebels! posting cloudless pics when the prompt calls for clouds. well, the challenge master would probably go easy on you as you have a bit of clouds in here. mine was totally nada! i like those floating clover leaves though. very nice! and fun!
@summerfield haha Vikki- we are rebels- but that is a trail from a plane, not an official cloud! So we're in this together girl! Jeff and I were driving last night and there were some beautiful clouds in the sky. I thought, "I should pull over, jump out and take a quick shot of them." But then thought it'd make us late, blah blah blah... took one look at the sky this morning and thought, "It figures!!"
@olivetreeann - i know what you mean. yesterday morning was the same as today, then in the afternoon, it was quite cloudy we didn't even have a sunset. i have photos of monday's beautiful sunrise clouds but i thought i have a gorgeous sky pic and i can't post it?! haha! so i thought 'why not?'
@summerfield lol! Yes, why not! @espyetta Thanks MaryBeth! @pandorasecho Thanks Dixie- you might be right! @karenann Thanks Karenann- this really fell under the "how am I going to shoot this? There are NO clouds in the sky today!"
Thank you Diane, Marie, Davide, Phil, Peter, Alia, Inertia, Rick, Dione, and Sara!
I'm glad all you enjoyed my little joke. I was thinking all morning, "How am I going to do clouds in a cloudless sky!?" Then the answer came to me as I was helping Diane. There really is something to be said about 365 adding to your powers of observation!
@netkonnexion Thank you Netkonnexion! You are too kind! It was quite frustrating to have no clouds on a day when I needed them and then today to have lots of clouds when I needed a blue sky and sun!
Here is the one that says March 14th for me. YOu guys and your two albums, I can't keep up with one. To tell you the truth I don't understand how to get to the others.
@sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry- I see what happened. This is the main album (the 365 Project) and the second album is where the squirrel shot was. So, to get that after the post date, you would go to my profile page and look under albums. There's a thumbnail picture for each one. My squirrel shot was in the album titled "Themes and Competitions"- even though currently it's just a shot I decide to post. This silly shot was for the March Photo A Day when I was supposed to shoot a cloud. No clouds on this sunny day, so I improvised. Once you click on the thumbnail of the album you want to see you can go to the previous picture until you reach the date in question. Or you can click on the calendar view and then click on the picture for that date. I know with the ace account I could have 3 albums. But 2 keeps me plenty busy.
