Ha, isn't that the truth however, since our Daughter is home, she has been really on top of things, doing dishes, cleaning when she wakes up. It's nice to have her at home.
The other day I saw the bottom of my ironing basket.. it is yellow! Well done on capturing a rare sight - go and frame it before you forget what it looks like! :)
@woot Thanks Davide- lol that's the light and the processing! @paulavdmerwe thank you Paula! @steeler Thanks Howard- but you have teens at home. We have no excuse! @kimmistephens thanks Kimmi! lol I think the editing actually spruced it up a bit! @beachradish thanks Beachradish- yes, I was in a very circular mood when I posted them this morning! @prttblues lol Bev- great minds think alike! I was so tempted to photograph something else and write that beneath the picture! @digitalrn thanks Rick! That is truly a blessing and it warms my heart to hear how happy she is to be a blessing to you and to be at home! @bruni thanks Bruni! We have a dishwasher too, but I often prefer to wash them myself. I look out my window and watch the birds at the feeder while I wash the dishes- it's actually quite relaxing! @wrighty Thanks Martha! So glad you stopped by! @filsie65 thanks Phil! lol that comment about your ironing basket gave me a good chuckle! @melorac thanks Carole- I think you are right! @httpgeffed thanks Colleen- I believe it's because my wonderful husband remember step 1: put dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. But forgets step 2: then wash them. (o: I don't mind so much. I actually like washing them and watching the birds through my window when I do.
Another great processing moment!! My sink does NOT stay empty .. hubby always has his coffee cups, ice-cream bowl, etc. there. I don't mind so much if he'd just rinse them. I also have a dishwasher, but much prefer to wash, dry, and put them away. Doesn't take long and I enjoy it.
nice! i can't stand it when there are dishes in the sink. partner would eat his cereal in the morning, rinse the dish then just leaves it. he thinks it's a waste of soap and water to wash just one dish and spoon, so he waits until the sink is cluttered but of course most of the time i end up washing everything. aaargh! but tonight he even wiped the counter. looks like we have the same kind of sink. cute shot.
@twinsplusone Thanks Sharon! Judging by your name tag, I think you have a better excuse for a sink full of dishes than I do! @mrssmith Thanks Carla! You being a dedicated teacher, should be allowed to have as many dishes in the sink as you wish! @karenann Thanks Karenann! The sink truly needed to be polished, but I was too lazy, so processing to the rescue! I must say the it is Jeff who leaves most of the dishes in the sink, but like you, I don't mind washing up after him. For me it is time to watch the birds and pray. Very relaxing. @summerfield Thanks Vikki- yes my sink is like yours, I think a little bigger and I have a window that looks out over the backyard by mine. But they both receive dishes and get cleaned the same way!
@bkbinthecity So you're off the hook for now! @peterdegraaff lol Peter- children train us! @sangwann Thanks Dione! You have a good wife! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! Looking forward to seeing what Phoenix and Magic think about the sink. @meoprisan Thanks Mihaela!
