Breakfast today: strawberry yogurt, a small handful of almonds, dark chocolate chips (just a tablespoon for the antioxidants mind you!) and cut strawberries- yum, yum, yum! Did I mention that strawberries are my favorite fruit?
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @michaelelliott Thanks Michael! This is supposed to be watercolor, but it sort of looks "posterized" to me- but I picked it because it suited the colors so well. It's a placemat, but the tight crop doesn't let you see that- a favorite set of mine. And no paper napkins for us- we use cloth ones! I love setting my table!

I took about a dozen different shots of this (believe it or not!) and this turned out to be the one I liked the best. @espyetta Thanks MaryBeth! You can apply varying degrees and I faded in more of the actual shot on this one so that it looked more like a picture and less like a painting. @allie912 Thanks Allison! @nicolecampbell lol Nicole! I put everything in the bowl and stir it and I guess the chips hadn't made it to the top yet! This is another effect from Befunky.com called watercolor, but this time I brought in more of the original photo so that it didn't look completely processed. Glad you like it!
sometimes i think my mind is playing tricks on me. i remember commenting on this yesterday and now it's gone and i'm left feeling like a jerk for not commenting on your photo. anyhoo, it looks like an advertisement i remember seeing from the life magazines a long time ago (how i can remember a long time ago and forget what i did with my comment is beyond me, trulily!). it looks like a drawing/painting and i can almost picture a lady with bobbed hair and red lipstick with a white apron and holding the bowl of yoghurt and you sitting on your chair waiting at the table. the composition and set up are great and the processing made it more so.
@summerfield You know- I thought you did too because I remember you saying something about the colors and composition! And I also remember thinking- oh! I had two Vikkis comment on this picture when Vikki GM left her comment. Maybe we're both losing our minds!
@summerfield I noticed that. The other fun thing that happens to me is that friends from around the world here constantly spell my name as Anne- even though it's right there next to my picture as Ann. I love it!
@olivetreeann - i have anne burnette commenting on my photos and sometimes your comment and hers would come one after the other. i really really have to be careful when typing your names. you may have noticed, i like to mention people's names when i comment or when i thank them for their comments. i must admit there was one time i typed in anne for you and ann for anne. it was too late when i realized my mistake after i pressed the 'post comment' button. i had to delete it pronto and started over.
@summerfield Oh don't worry about that Vikki- I like my interchangeable name! It makes me feel very international. In fact the fellow who was our best man, his mother was from Italy and she insisted on calling me Anna. I loved that too!
