@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole, and thank you too Paige! @sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry- I wasn't sure what was going to come out when I shot through the eye piece! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @karenann Thank you Karenann. I took a shot through one of my other kaleidoscopes last year, but it didn't have things in it like this one. I was really surprised at how well I was able to shoot the design. @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! @tanja_1211 Thank you Tanja! @kimmistephens Thank you Kimmi! @rayg86 Thanks Ray! @tklein Thanks Tina! @summerfield Thanks Vikki! I bought this one when I was in my late 20's!
@espyetta Believe it or not, I just held the camera up to the eyepiece and took a picture. I had it set on macro and made sure I was shooting with the light source coming through the kaleidoscope. Oh, and I turned it a few times so that there would be a design.
@inertie Thanks Inertia. At first I was just going to post the last shot in the panel. But the inside shot came out so well, I just had to post it. Then I thought, I need to put this in context so I included the full shot of it. Now on to tackle today's final March word. It's a dull, dreary day and I have no idea what I'm going to shoot!
Now there's something I haven't seen for many, many moons! Do you still get them? I was always crazy about them as a child - the simple pleasures we had as kids in those days....
@peterdegraaff Thanks Peter! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! @bruni Thanks Bruni! @kloud Thanks Bonnie. I haven't bought an artsy one like this one in a long while. But last year I did buy a kit which you can make your own for the next time my granddaughter visits. @allie912 Thanks Allison- I know, I have to spell it out loud as I type or it ends up looking like a foreign language! @rhubbard Thanks Richard! I have two children's versions and 3 artistic ones- this being my favorite. When I took this shot I thought, I should start collecting them again now that I have grandchildren! (excuses, excuses!) @paulavdmerwe Thank you Paula! @prttblues Thank you Bev! You've had a couple light shots that remind me of them too. @twinsplusone Thanks Sharon!
@crickle1969 Thanks Crickle. There is one tiny little piece of blue sea glass in the kaleidoscope and it always supplies a colorful pop to the pattern when it appears.
