And - what happens when you agitate dirty clothes with detergent? Clean clothes! The perfect concert would be having dessert in clean clothes! Very cool series - I like it!
@coastandcactus Iol Cissy- I did have a shot of the clothes in the washer from last night, but then someone else posted a similar shot. Of course, I had to do something different then! So, we will be having dessert in clean clothes after all. @rhubbard Thanks Rich! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri!
ann, in 2010 the G20 was held here in our city and i have pics of protesters and i thought i'd use them. but i balked this morning and thought i'd wait for a better opportunity for a photo opp. today i was really keyed up or agitated with work i thought a selfie was in order. not! when i went to lunch i realized my bubble tea is made using the blender so i asked if i could take a pic. it was after all my bubble tea. and the rest is photo of the day.
surprised to see this, we must've posted at the same time. and we were thinking along the same line. great minds, eh? that whipped cream looks so creamy my tummy's agitated just looking at it. great shots!
@anazad511 Thanks Ana! Every now and then I just have to tell a story with a collage! @summerfield Thanks Vikki! I had thought about that type of agitation when I chose this word, but knew I wouldn't attending any protests in the coming days, so, I thought I'd end up photographing my washer as it agitated the laundry. I did do that last night, but then someone else posted their washer. Of course that meant I HAD to do something different! Hence the impromptu decision to make strawberry shortcake with whipped cream for dessert tonight. But really, I wish I know how to make Bubble Tea. The name alone is so much more interesting! @sarasdadandmom I'm about to eat it now Terry!
Oh .... that looks so much better than my Cool Whip! And tastes heavenly besides. Lovely word for the competition. Agitate ... that's been me all day. Grumpy and agitated.. you could have taken a pic of me, Ann! Not! lol
@olivetreeann - in the summer i make my own version of bubble tea. i brew some blackcurrant tea, really strong, and put them in a container in the fridge. then i make unflavoured gelatin, you probably have 'davis' brand in the states, we have 'knox' brand here or you probably have both. i put less water than what it says on the label to make the gelatin firmer. then i cut the firmed gelatin into little cubes and store them in the fridge, too. put a mix of half cold brewed tea and water (adjust depending on how strong you want your tea), some gelatine cubes and some ice or crushed ice, and voilà ! home-made delicious bubble tea. sometimes i put a drop of honey or maple syrup just to sweeten it, but i go either way. you can also make the tea out of earl grey or any regular tea and you can put milk in it if you want. no need to agitate it in the blender, especially in the summer who has time for that? i just mix them and enjoy!
@kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi! @karenann Thanks Karenann- and it's actually better for you than Cool Whip- too much corn syrup and sugar in that stuff! Sorry to hear you're out of sorts today. Cheer up my friend! You're in my prayers. @summerfield Ok- sounds a little complicated for a lazy cook like me, but not too bad. No Earl Grey (yuck!!) but black currant sounds fine!
@olivetreeann - not complicated at all: you brew tea. you make gelatin. you mix some in glass, you put ice. you enjoy! hehehehe! i make a big batch that would last me and partner for a week.
i had just been to ipiccy.com to process a shot. it now has a mirror frame effect! i'm so excited! it's free for now. maybe they will start to charge for 'premium' effects once picnik is closed for good.
I've always found it so amazing that by adding just a few ingredients to a mixer or food processor can produce such a yummy dessert. Cool collage and a clever way to display agitation....much better than watching some people fight or stew over something ;-)
@ellimae Thanks Ellen! @summerfield Thanks Vikki! Yes- I saw it too- was very happy. @peterdegraaff Thank you Peter! @alia_801 Thank you Alia! @sangwann Thank you Dione! It was good! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! We had a lovely shortcake with it. (o: @steeler Thanks Howard! @cimes1 Thanks Carole! I don't add anything- just whip it as is since I'm really trying to cut down on sugar wherever I can. I find I really like it better this way! @ulpiphotos Thanks Ulpi! @prttblues Thanks Bev! If you are ever in the Poconos I will definitely share some with you!
What did you make? I made mini baked cheesecakes and a banana cake yesterday and I am thinking it might be pikelets for breakfast. I hope you enjoyed your creation.
@nicolecampbell Oh my Nicole! You put me to shame!! I made shortcake (from Bisquick not scratch!) using frozen mixed berries (defrosted of course). The only elegant part was the whipped cream! Generally I do use fresh fruit, but I didn't have enough for the shortcake and my breakfast, so breakfast won out for the good stuff! There is still some whipped cream left so I'm having some hot chocolate tonight to finish it off!
I haven't been in 365 last night and missed al these.. photos and lovely comments.. and now I want a strawberry whipped cream cake.. =).. great collage.. and I am sure it was a very tasty dessert.. I thought of agitation the same way you did.. protests.. which take place every day in here for one thing or other than the domestic life agitation.. and lucky I am that the pigeons came my way while going to the lawyer'office for something nonimportant.. but normally I should stay at my work place and the visit to the lawyer gave me an opportunity.. we see all 365 now.. =).. have the best sunday..
@deniseinindy Thanks Denise. I was going to post only one but then thought I'd take the sequence just in case. I'm glad I did because I like the way the progression goes.
@rhubbard Thanks Rich!
