Color- Day 5

I'm posting the next few days early as I might not be able to do so while visiting the grandkids (insert happy dance here). My apologies for posting so many pictures and please do not feel obligated to comment on each and every one.

Last day of the color segment of 5 Weeks in May. I thought I'd pull one out of the archives since we'll be in farm country. This was a pump house I discovered when photographing the old brown barn a few weeks back. I love the weathered wood!

I would be so all over this pump house! Love the texture, the color, weathered window and windowpane. Fabulous red!

I think this is my favorite of your recent posts. I'm a sucker for peeling paint and old windows. Nice pov and reflections as well.

the colour is the central attraction here, and the weathered feel makes for a very engaging rustic effect. i love the reflection on the window panes as well. über shot, ann. i like it.

I love the peeling paint and yet the color is so vivid it doesn't seem faded and the stone and wood textures are wonderful contrasts. lots of interest here visually

Really nice--I like the weathered wood and textures. Nice composition, too. Have a good visit with your grandkids--I'm catching up on 365 because we visited ours and I took a break.

@pandorasecho Thanks Dixie- this was the side of the building that was most protected from the weather and sun, so yes, it doesn't look all the bad! But the other sides did.
