Isaac loves to look out the window and watch all the activity, but when Grandpa was mowing the lawn on the riding mower and Isaac wasn't with him, he wasn't too happy! He LOVES to ride the mower!
I really liked the way the overcast day turned this shot into a monochrome picture. I shot it from the outside looking in.
I'm on a brief visit home and will be heading out to see my dad tomorrow. As soon as I get settled I'll start catching up on all your shots. I've been skimming the home page, but haven't had time to comment.
Isaac's expression says it so well. I really love how you processed this. Outstanding. I will have to try this. Seems I have no time at all lately to experiment on anything. Again all my best to you and your dad and take care. No need to comment on my comment. Luvya!
Ann ... this is so beautiful and so vintage looking! It's just a wow photo for me and love that sweet child's expression. It expresses his feelings totally. This photo needs to be framed and hung ... it could win a competition in my opinion. :)
if the people were wearing 'formal' clothes, this would have looked like a 'period' photo. i like the hazy effect, makes the pic seemed like it was taken off an old magazine.
@kimmistephens Thank you Kimmi! @salza Thank you Sally! @cimes1 Thank you so much Carole- you are a blessing!!! @karenann Thank you Karenann- wow. This was such a spontaneous shot. I had taken one of Isaac from the inside and Jeff said, "You should go shoot one from the outside too". So, I did. I loved the shot, but there was a reflection of Doc's bird feeder in it which was easily processed out. And that was the only thing I did. The vintage look is merely achieved by shooting through the window. Nothing else. @summerfield Thanks Vikki! It's so interesting shooting through the window from the outside. I also liked the way it tinted the picture which suited the black & white or monotone requirement this week. @alia_801 Thanks Alia- Isaac has some awesome "serious" expressions! @sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry!
This is such an amazing shot Ann. The expressions on their faces are priceless and taking this in b/w and looking in gives it a real vintage look to it
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian- actually it's a color shot! But with the overcast day and shooting from outside in, the picture took on a monochromatic tone which matched the challenge requirement for this week (black and white or monochrome). I basically did not do a lot to this picture other than cloning out the reflection of a bird feeder which hindered the shot from being aesthetically pleasing.
@pandorasecho thanks Dixie!
@beachradish thanks Beachradish!
@wenbow thanks Wendy!

Thanks everyone- I'm just about ready to pack up the car and head out to see Dad. Hope to get back to my 365 routine when I get settled in.
