Black & White- Day 3 by olivetreeann

Black & White- Day 3

One of the benefits of digital is the ability to switch your shots back and forth between color and black and white. I find that shooting in color often makes me think about what a shot might look like without color and shooting in black and white sharpens my compositional skills and attention to light and shadow. In color this shot is quite interesting, but in black and white, it's fascinating (at least to me it is!).
Nice black and white

Gorgeous. You captured some nice detail. I enjoy shooting in both, sometimes doing the same shot in both B/W and color.

I totaly agree with you Ann. I quite often find myself taking the same shot in colour and black and white and even sepia and then deciding which one I like best

@deniseinindy Thanks Denise- no, not an alien and not a tree- but the leaves of the Poppy plant of day 2.
