My journey to Vermont began at a stand-still. But the car in front of me kept me amused in a small way. At first the convertible top was up, but the music pulsated away. Then, when the truckers started turning off their engines, the convertible top went down and the music stopped. I could only see the very top of the heads of its passengers, but it was quite obvious that they were no "spring chickens". Yup, I think it's a mid-life crisis car, but it's still coool!
@summerfield I know- it was so funny because at first all I could hear was the music which was 80's stuff (Def Leopard I think!) and then I saw the head! lol
I don't know. I have been at high schools where the staff parking lot is all old clunker cars but the senior parking lot is full of new power cars and pickups
lol! My foster mom and her husband in their 70's bought a red sporty convertible, they drive through Bastoff, Texas and Austin with it. Then they loan it out to their daughter and son-in-law for date night while they watch the grandchild for the young couple! Way cool! :)
That's funny. when my kids see an "older" person driving one of those special cars they always say, "That sholdn't be allowed" LOL. I tell them, wait until you see my car once life slows down.
Thanks everybody! When my life settles down a bit I will once again attempt to catch up on all your great shots as well. I'm sorry for falling so far behind. Life is very challenging right now.
@olivetreeann No worries about catching up! Just take care of yourself and your family! You are a wonderful and kind person and it comes through in both your photography and comments! :)
