Sigh...after a week of dazzling you with beautiful glassware, I could not come up with an equally entertaining adventure into the world of numbers. Part of my problem was the fact that I could not decide whether to approach the shots literally, or abstractly. So I will probably waver back and forth between the two. Today's incredibly boring shot came from the clock at the pool. A feeble attempt at playing around with the exposure resulted in the above. It's somewhat overdone but it's what came out of the camera today.
I love your processing of this, Ann. That's what takes this from "just a number" to WOW ... what a great number!! You underestimate your artistic approach on this one. It's beautiful.
@dmariewms Thanks Marie! I will see what happens tomorrow! @summerfield Thanks Vikki! I'll be looking forward to seeing what inspired you! @karenann Thank you Karenann! All I did was play with the exposure- overexposed I think. But a shot like this has been done a thousand times. It's growing on me somewhat. @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! @httpgeffed Thank you Colleen!
Thank you everyone- you always say the nicest things!!
I like it! If I were you, I'd just stick with numerals at this point...it will look neat! But....that is probably harder than sets if items.... Whatever you do will come put great I'll bet!
@espyetta Thanks MaryBeth! I'm leaning in that direction- you must have read my mind! @nadaa Thanks Nadaa! And thanks for the follow- it's past my bedtime but I will check out your project soon! @lyno Thank you Lyn! Wish I could have stored up for this one, but it's not so bad after all. @digitalrn Thanks Rick! I appreciate your vote of confidence!
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi! @prttblues Thanks Bev! @salza Thanks Sally! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! @filsie65 Thanks Phil (I'm going staggered width and vertical on those!) @la_photographic Thanks Laura! (In my mind I see what I told Phil working in my head- we'll see next week if it actually works!) @sangwann Thanks Dione! @cimes1 Thanks Carole!
Thank you one and all for those nice comments! It doesn't look so bad today. Now I just have to find a 2.
@mrssmith Thanks Carla! Well, this one came from the clock at the pool. My swimming friend was a few minutes late, so I pulled out my camera and was just walking around shooting stuff! But it was quite uninspired and random. Whenever I'm restless or displeased with the picture I end up with, I usually resort to processing in hopes to inject some life into it. This was semi-successful. I don't hate it as much as I first did, but I still think it's an overdone shot (in other words everybody takes a close-up shot of a clock at some point) and if it weren't for the fiddling around with the exposure, it really wouldn't have been all that interesting either. But that's just the way I see it- apparently others find it good enough- which has elevated my opinion of it slightly too. @ruthmouch Thanks Ruth! @sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry!
@peterdegraaff Thank you Peter! I am behind on seeing your beautiful shots- but I must run and exercise. I shall return later to catch up on photos! Thanks again for your faithful comments! Your work is always amazing and a high point of my viewing time on 365!
@mhatch Thanks Mark! Although this is a monthly challenge it's broken into weeks, so you can join anytime! @boogie Thanks Mags! @automaticslim Thanks Andy! It was surprising to see you write "the larger" size because I've been so focused as to what they will look like in the thumbnails!

Thanks Smitha!
Thanks Allison!
I'm glad you like it. I didn't at first but now that the 2 is up next to it in the thumbnail, I like it much better!
