@kandernob Thanks Karen. I was experimenting a bit with this one. It was taken in color, but I converted it to black and white, then faded in the original shot just enough to hint at the green. It's sort of a selective coloring but not exactly.
@tara11 lol Tara, I never really thought much about them until 365 and the fateful day I decided to put the camera on the ground and shoot underneath. After the amazing results of that shot, I was always on the look out for them! And still am.
Thank you all! Pov accomplished by placing the camera on the ground rather than the photographer who has bad knees! Toned down colors accomplished by changing color shot to sepia and fading original picture back in. Composition is simply following the old "rule of thirds" which gives a picture more visual appeal.
