This challenge seemed sort of all over the place to me, so I was glad of the reminder to look at your thumbnail calendar and it is REALLY cool! I keep hoping to make it to year 2 and have more time/inclination to do some of these! Nice job!!
@lyno Thank you Lyn! I have not been as "into" this one as some of the others- but I think that is because I started it when I was visiting my son in Michigan and had to pick subjects that were able to transfer from his state to mine. So I ended up with the "same scene" subject that was ok, but not great. And I never liked this symbol! Although I do support recycling and have for quite some time. But I just wasn't into this! The other thing I think went against me was it was the third month in a row where the thumbnails came into play and I was just tired of it! But I pushed through and I'm glad I did it. Next month's Either Or is very random- just the break I need. I think you have to choose the challenges wisely. They're meant to be fun and when they aren't, it's such a burden. Thankfully I've never felt that way about any of the ones I've done but I've seen others go through it. You're doing great with your project! I enjoy your pictures- especially the hummingbirds since my camera can't do that kind of shot. I'm glad you liked the thumbnails- I love the leaves and even though I didn't like the scene at first, the row of them does look good. Plus I also liked doing the selective coloring in same setting.
@pjonas Thank you Patty! I wish I could share your enthusiasm- I'm just glad to have them done! haha. I only like the scrubby one- the rest to me are just blah! lol I am my own toughest critic.
I agree that you have a great calendar even if you didn't have as much fun with this. It really was fun for me and I loved "riding the same bus" as you.

I first put this one through the "neon" effect in iPiccy but it wasn't bold enough for me, so I saved it and then put it through the neon effect in Ribbet which gave it the bright green color I was looking for. The styrofoam try was black and I think that's why it didn't pop during the first processing.
Think you did a great job for this challenge...and this is very funky! I have yet to venture into the world of "challenges"! Thanks so much for your comment re top 20...appreciate your words and the time it takes to post... :-)

The challenges have certainly taken the stress off of coming up with something every day, but sometimes I feel they also limit some freedom to shoot what I want. @olivetreeann Yes! Excuse my typing...i was on my ipad...it is so hard to type on that. And no, you should not think you could have taken a better shot. It is just that I saw US and a triangle like an A, and it is green....so reminds me of money..that's all! :0)
