The car is back and after being housebound for a few days, today's choice was simple- outdoors all the way!! Although it's a little overcast the Autumn colors are quite lovely today. I took this shot from Jeff's van as we headed out to pick up the car. What a surprise to see the waterfall tucked in there when I uploaded the shot! Now I know where the Shawnee Falls Art Studio gets its name! I just love what the "soft focus" did to this shot. I feel like I've just painted a masterpiece.
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @lisjam1 Thank you Lisa! I feel bad for you!!! Maybe tomorrow? @salza Thank you Sally! You are a brilliant woman! @maggiemae Thanks Maggie! The whole scene is a delight- and I don't usually get to see it being the driver, but today I was a passenger, so I did! @dmariewms Thank you Marie! @daisy Thank you Kathryn!
@eniaral Thank you Laraine. I do love how this one turned out. And initially it wasn't going to be today's shot. But after the processing- this was it!
@pjonas Thank you Patty! @cortens Thanks Julie! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! Not painful at all. They couldn't find anything wrong! So it will always be a mystery.
@henrir Thank you Henri! And thank you so much for the fav! @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! It is a beautiful area! @gphelps5 Thank you Graham! @bobbyj Thank you Bobbby! @alia_801 Thank you Alia!
Thanks to all! The Poconos does have some beautiful areas of wildlife. It is also a changing area as more people move out this way from NYC.
I love digital picture fir the way we can afford to take so many shots and play with them. They don't have to be all serious and expensive like film was and sometimes the extras surprise us like this and become a surprising delight
@anazad511 Thank you Ana! @netkonnexion Thank you Damon! @espyetta Thank you MaryBeth- yes. I do restore the sharpness and some color that gets when the picture is transferred from the camera to the computer- the soft focus is all I used after that. And thank you for the fav!
@sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @pandorasecho Thank you Dixie! And thanks to on-line processing you can make several different versions of one shot! @prttblues Thanks Bev! @tara11 Thanks Tara!
i've been in and out of doors (car doors, that is) the last two days and today i'm so relieved to be indoors at least until tomorrow morning. feeling a tad better, the camera is a good distraction for sickness. i've seen views like this so much, at one village all the trees have hardly changed colours, in the next town the trees are all showy and the next half the trees are bald. go figure. but what i like are the surprises, like the little bridge i espy at the back of your photo, or is medication just making tricks? lovely muted colours, ann.
