Off the Wall or On the Floor by olivetreeann

Off the Wall or On the Floor

I'm putting in one of the substitutes today because I forgot to get a quick snap of some okra when I did my food shopping the other day, and I've already done two shots of apples within the last two weeks. I decided to capture Off the Wall or On the Floor when I saw what Mother Nature had left strewn all over my front doorstep yesterday. The leaves and sticks seemed to fit perfectly with my pine cones and decorative baskets.
The stiffness of this leaf provides an attractive form amongst the others - like this is sepia!

I's lovely..could be a nice thanksgiving display.I like your processing. I posted some leaves I gathered together from the garden..we don't have hardly any red leaves to choose from at least not here on our street and I didn't get out of the house much lately so I only had a limited amount to choose from.

Even though this is such a great fall scene, the vivid colors aren't at all necessary - the sepia works so well!

Good work!

@sparkleplenty1 Thank you Joyce! In reality, it doesn't have much color. The pumpkin is orange, but everything else was brown or redish-brown.
@httpgeffed Thank you Colleen!

Ann, this looks so neat, especially in sepia. I love the softness of it.

@granny7 Thank you Linda! I didn't even bother to shoot it in color because I was certain the sepia would have that effect.

Thanks everyone- and Fall is finally in full-swing here. The temperatures really dropped last night and the trees behind the house are awash in yellows, rusty orange and brown.
