Thanks Vikki, Kerri, Colleen, Alia, Sally, Livia, Dione, Rick, Margaret, Peter, Karen and Carole. This sweet little birdhouse was made by my older son YEARS ago!! I think he was about 8 at the time- he's now in his 30's! But it has always been hanging somewhere wherever we were. Actually there are two homes in this shot- the one for the birds, and mine!
@alia_801 I was thinking about putting something together and then saw that Bulldog was putting together a list and taking suggestions. That sounded really fun, so I put a few nominations in and we'll see what he decides on. I think it's listed under Nominations 4 November or something like that in the themes and competitions. Dixie's list is really nice too. I'll do that one for a week in my second album. I've been able to take so many nice fall pictures that I want to keep at least one album open for that and any other one shot type competitions that come up. When I was doing two challenges (one per album) I felt like I couldn't really take any pictures that documented my day or I didn't have a lot of room to take some that caught my eye. So that's what I've decided to do. Bulldog's list looks like it's going to be pretty random, but tons of fun. Dixie's challenge will be touching and introspective. And who knows what else will pop up between now and November 1.
Ann this birdhouse looks very much like ours. it's so popular that the sparrows sit on top and one of them goes still inside and sticks his/her little head out. so cute.. nice that you've kept it all. these little things the kid did when they're young are precious keepsakes...
