Decided to go with the ends, but I sure was at odds with Sandy today! Thankfully there was enough natural light in spite of the clouds and rain-filled wind to take the shot.
@glendq Thanks Glendq! We lost power for a week, but thanks to a great neighbor and some good friends had some reprise from our dark home for a couple days. I'll continue to tell the story as I post more pictures through the week in my second album. @kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @maggiemae Thank you Maggie! The sepia does tend to make it look monochrome- but in color it is a lovely tan with forest green and cranberry red accents in the plaid.
Thank you one and all! It was a strange feeling to take a shot each day but not be able to post it! I will slowly be catching up with all your 365 albums, viewing and leaving some comments. Please know I'm looking at them all but trying to limit the comments so that I get caught up! And just when I'm getting back into the swing of things, we're heading out to see the grandkids on Friday! Thanks again for all the comments!
Lovely shot. The texture is great. I like that you have natural light to be able to take such a shot. I like the balance between the carpet and the wood (or is that tile???). Nice job!
hope sandy was not too hard on you
