I really like your bunny there. Great idea. I about flipped when I saw your shot for toady, a hand shot like mine. I guess the hands have it today. :-) Good to see you back :-)
Cute! We used to have a unit of study in 4th grade which included Indonesian shadow puppets. Absolutely fantastic artistry to create them and perform with them.
Thanks to all for such nice comments on a totally goofy shot! I had fun doing it though. Oh, Nicole- I'm sorry! I didn't even think about telling a story with it. However, I highly recommend "The Velveteen Rabbit" if you want something to read with your daughters and build self-esteem. As for adults, I remember reading Watership Down years ago and really liking it, but I have completely forgotten the story line!
@yonnie Thank you Yvonne! I was very close to the light source and also close to the wall. I don't know if that made a difference but I will be honest and say as goofy as this is, I threw out 5 other shots of the same thing! 6 shots to get one hand shadow? Silly me!
@chrismarfil Thank you Chris! Haha- it's supposed to be a rabbit! But it's a little hard to pull my hands in tightly now with the arthritis. @eniaral Thanks Laraine! It'd be a little tricky to take the shot with no hands. hehe
We did that too. I saw a professional performer do these at a show a few weeks ago - he could do (recognisable) different people, really complicated animals... it was amazing! I struggle to do my own shadow sometimes! :)
Of course it was always fun..my late sister and I counted the roses on the curtains in our bedroom and since she was 7 years older she was the rose queen..can't remember what I was but definitely not a rose..funny what some things bring certain memories back to you.
@kandernob Thank you Karen! It's good to be back! But so much catching up to do!!
@salza Thank you Sally!
It was the first thing that came to mind when I read today's word, so it seemed appropriate to stage one.

Thanks Lyn, Livia, Alia, Laura and Dione!
@bruni Thank you Bruni!
We'll be heading home in a little while, so I'll be back to view your pictures soon.
@wenbow Thanks Wendy! That sounds like a fun thing to watch- you must love it.
