Windows

Entryway to the supermarket!
Great pov! I like the b&w and the fact that you can see the clouds and sky through the windows.

@tara11 Thanks Tara! This challenge is all about black and white. I've done a week of it before, but not a whole month. But I like the game of finding something to shoot in black and white everyday. Glad you like it!

interesting pov, ann. for a while there i was confused as to which is the correct side to look. :-) very clever. i like it!

@summerfield Thanks Vikki! It's just looking straight up. I took two rather quickly because I didn't want customers thinking something was wrong up there!

Tara hit the nail on the head!

@dakotaburns Thanks Donald- it was the perfect time to take this shot- mid-afternoon. Lots of sun but no glare.

This looks great in b and w! Who wold have thunk it? Haha! Love the composition!

I need to tag my pics flash-o-red! Have not been doing that. That tag search will look neat! Black and whites with reds dotted in there...
February 5th, 2013
Oh! I just tagged my shots and then went to the tag search...the b and w's are gorgeous! I am SO GLAD i am doing this challenge! And I noticed, too, that the red is going to be right in the middle of the calendar view, since Valentines is situated like that on the calendar. It is going to be cool!

@bkbinthecity @sarasdadandmom @daisy @digitalrn @eudora @lyno @sangwann @espyetta

Thank you Brian, Terry, Kathryn, Rick, Diane, Lyn, Dione, and MaryBeth! I've always liked this foyer- it's mostly widows and even on the coldest days, it's filled with light (if the sun is shinning!) and makes you feel warm.

@espyetta It was designed that way on purpose! I did a selective color shot recently and the idea popped into my head that it would look really cool on the calendar view to have a whole month of b/w with just one little spot of color. Then Vikki asked what I'd be doing for February and it all fell into place.

You know this is my sort of thing Ann, too bad you were just a touch too quick to enter this in the eye of the beholder challenge! :-)
February 5th, 2013
look at this in large - it's really impressive! love this shot, Ann ~

@automaticslim Thanks Andy- actually I think there is an EOTB #2 now. I'll have to check the guidelines and see if it qualifies. If it does I will tag it on your recommendation. (o:
@eniaral Thanks Laraine! I was a little mad at myself for not really taking time to compose it. But then when I uploaded it, I was impressed that I'd naturally balanced it anyway!
February 5th, 2013
Go ahead and tag it Ann, the challenge went up at about 11.30pm GMT but it would be silly to quibble about it.
February 5th, 2013

February 6th, 2013
Wow, this looks great .although I must tell you it made me feel queezy, I guess it was the height.
February 6th, 2013

@cimes1 Thanks Carole!
@jesperani Thank you Jennifer!
@bruni Thank you Bruni! Sorry about the queezy pov for you, but I promise this is taken from the ground looking up not the other way around!

February 6th, 2013
@automaticslim I'd like to thank the Academy for... oh wait, that's the Oscars, not 365.
