The victim of my sneaky peak picture today is hubby Jeff. He's home today because a tile order wasn't complete. I snuck in a shot of him chatting on the phone with a friend of ours. But since I needed such a high ISO to take the shot without the flash, the picture was really grainy. I ran it through the posterize effect just to get rid of the grain. One more day and February will be over!
You turned into a "sneaky peak" photographer. ha ha.. greAt shot though..and he is totally unaware of it. I couldn't get away with that as Hans looks at all the incoming e-mails including the ones from 365.
Great sneaky pic! I like what the posterize did to this! I was just thinking today how I will feel some amazing freedom when this black and white stint is over. but I have enjoyed it! :0) There has just been a time or two when I wanted to put a color pic in my main album and could not.
@ellimae Thanks Ellen! It's more "natural" looking in posterize. As a straight up shot with no editing it looked bad!! @bruni Thanks Bruni- he saw me processing it though, so he knows it's here. But, it's true, he didn't know I took it at first. (o; Sneaky wife!
@espyetta Thanks MaryBeth! lol I am at the brink of saying, "I am SICK of black and white photography!" Not really, but I do wish I'd chosen to do abstracts or pov view this week instead. I feel like I'm ending on a fizzle. I do have to say though, the calendar views are awesome!! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri!
You are very sneaky but I really like the perspective on this. There is just something personal about it that you don't see very often. Almost looks film with the grain. Well done Ann =)
@olivetreeann I got great orange sunset shots today, so wanted to just put it up there on the calendar view, but I cannot do it. I want my b and w calendar view. I am going to post a pic of it on March 1.
@espyetta I have a bright red tulip shot that I'm saving for March 1! @tanja_1211 Thank you Tanja! I think it's that I took it as I'm peeking around a corner (at least it looks that way- but it's the book shelf). That's what gives it that personal feeling.
@allie912 Yes, today it was- he fixed the burner on the stove top! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! @worthitall Thank you Rashella! @anazad511 Thank you Ana! @smithak Thank you Smitha! @prttblues Thanks Bev! I don't think he heard the camera because he was talking on the phone, but he did see me processing the shot so he does know I took it.
it's like a scene from a mystery movie, the camera sneaking in on the unsuspecting jeff, while you hear the clicking sound of the camera's shutter. nice shot and great processing, as usual!
@bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! @pflaume Thanks Lisa! @salza Thanks Sally! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! @jesperani Thanks Jennifer! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @allie912 Thank you Allison! Anybody who has done this challenge really has a great calendar view. Of the ones I've checked they all look just as striking as mine! @paulavdmerwe Thanks Paula! @cimes1 Thank you Carole- you just made Jeff's day! @steeler Thank you Howard!
@nadaa Thanks Nada! I think I did this one in Ribbet, but they all have it to some degree. Cartoonize also has a poster like effect too. @netkonnexion Thank you Damon! @sandier Thank you Sandy! Well I certainly had enough black and white this month! @naomi Thanks Naomi! I think even with the pattern in front of me, I'd still get mixed up!
@edie Thanks Edie! In this case the processing is hiding a multitude of sins! It was such a grainy shot- but the posterize effect embraces it and makes it work.
@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- you've seen a little of this before when I took a picture of my cookbook shelf there. It's a tiny little home, but it's just what we need. You are always welcome to visit!!
