It's been a crazy day! But a good one in many ways. We are finally getting our wood floor put down! However that means the house is completely topsy-turvy! We'll have to make due over the next week as the tung oil treatment dries, but we can make it work. I also worked at Judy's today. Her yard it covered with Forget Me Nots right now and they look so pretty!
I apologize for not getting to all my comments and views tonight, and barely making a dent on your pictures. But I shall slowly catch up over the next week or so in between finding excuses to stay out of the house while the floor dries! Oh, and don't worry, when it's all done- there'll be pictures!
A beautiful little flower mostly growing wild here. I have a few on the side of the house but they're not in bloom yet. terrific lighting, like the interchange of light and shadow.
I can't tell you how nice it is to come and see all your comments on this shot. Boy have we been turned upside down in our house. Furniture displaced, books in piles, drop cloths over everything to protect it from the sand dust tomorrow.- it's crazy here! So forgive me as I slowly get back to your shots and leaving you comments. After the sanding, the tung oil gets applied and then we wait a week for it to cure and dry. Then life will start returning to "normal" here!
@eudora Thank you Diane! I'm glad I've been of some encouragement to you. You have a loving heart and open hands. I'm glad to be seeing the South through your beautiful photos. And even though I'm not a big football fan, I now give a cheer for LSU whenever I see or hear the name!
that's quite a dense covering of fmn's. there's a portion in the big park near the apartment building but they're quite sparse. i love these little flowers. they're one of those that could cheert a weary spirit, methinks! lovely capture, ann.
Your photo is sweet and pretty!
