@allie912 Thank you Allison! Yes, they are- it looked like they blossomed in stages: tight bud- bright pink, opening flower stage- pale pink, fully opened flower- white. The whole tree was just covered in all these beautiful colors.
Oh thank you, thank you, thank you one and all!!! Life has been turned upside down in our home the last few days as our floor (yes that one we started prepping for in 2011!!) has finally been laid down. Tomorrow the sanding will be done and life will return to a semi-normal pace until the tung oil is applied and we wait a week before the furniture can be moved back in. Yikes! Thankfully the computer room is still accessible and I should be able to catch up with all your wonderful shots as the week goes by.
