No idea where they are from - they remind me of the painting on canal barges, but lots of places have canals... They're very pretty anyway, and make for a great shot!

They were made by the world-famous Sandrouni family in Jerusalem.

this gives me an idea for a shot that my clients want (partner and his daughter are a pain in the arse, wanting something different, but so lazy to go and browse here on 365 for the shot they want). so hope you won't mind me copying this shot, angle and all. :-) lovely wares. i might even have something similar but not from Israel.
