Made In... #7

My last Around the World shot for this week and another souvenir brought to me by a friend who visited this warm country (in every way) on a short term mission trip. The brown shapes are cut out from dried banana peels! Want to take a guess as to where those bananas grew?

Uhm, I grow bananas in my garden, but I didn't make it. Bananas? Bananas? many places... but wearing that type of hat and using that large mortar makes me think of tropical Africa.

Hi everyone! Many apologies for keeping you in suspense all day. We were visiting friends after church and I've just gotten on the computer! Well, this lovely little banana girl comes from Haiti. I also have a wonderful bottle of pure vanilla that came from there as well. It smells heavenly when you open the bottle!
