Tiger Lily (New Camera Day 6)

Aha moment! Not so much aha- I get it, but more like aha- I got a picture! Love the detail I'm seeing on these garden close-ups.

No need to comment- last of the massive uploads to get me back on track.
okay, now we're talking! were you using the macro attachment? this turned out quite lovely.

Pretty curves and shapes - lovely to have new toys to play with and see the world through

@summerfield Thanks Vikki! No, this is just hand held and hand focused. After I uploaded it and saw how it came out, I thought, "I've got to put that macro attachment on!"

@dibzgreasley @nicolecampbell @digitalrn @kerristephens

Thank you Debs, Nicole, Rick and Kerri!

@cimes1 Thank you so much for the fav Carole!!!

@olivetreeann - yes, try it on. you need to unscrew the NDA filter first before you put in the wide angle/macro lens. :-) you're getting the hang of it, not to worry.

@summerfield Thanks Vikki! Took the ND off after the ghostly Buster shot. Planning to attach the macro today at some point and take some shots.

I love the picture and when you do a mass upload, I always smile because I love seeing them all, even though I am bad about commenting on everything, I always want to look and red and suddenly I'm out of time

Wonderful detail on this macro.

Amazing colour and dof. Looks like you are starting to get to grips with the new toy!

Pretty shot and composition.

@summerfield Another new lessons learned today. The macro that you were talking about is the other big lens! I thought it was the little one, which turned out to be a wide angle lens. So I put the macro on, and the picture will posted shortly.

@pandorasecho Thank you Dixie! That's fine- I usually miss your daily post and end up commenting on a whole week's worth at a time.

@skstein Thank you Sandy!
@salza Thank you Sally! Sort of- not sure if I'm really on board with it, but I have figured out a couple things- how to turn the camera on; how to turn it off...(o:
@daisymiller Thank you Daisy!

Oh, I absolutely love tiger lilies. They are the only flower that I've actually been able to grow in my yard. I had them all over my yard in IL! LOL!

@altadc Thank you Alta!
@taffy Thank you Taffy! I have a huge amount to learn, but I am already seeing that when I actually understand this camera, I'll be able to take many of the shots I've dreamed about!
@homeschoolmom Thank you Lisa! Tiger Lilies and Day Lilies grow pretty much anywhere- but they are so pretty, who cares?!
