Fiddling around with my processing program today and learning how to make collages in it. I felt the ladies needed equal time. After all, it's 2014 and we've made great strides in gender equality. So here's a taste of what ladies do at a tractor pull: they compete (upper right and lower left hand corners) and take pictures of their favorite competitor (diagonally from left to right). I didn't get a shot of the young lady who sang the National Anthem but folks sure did give her a hearty cheer when she finished.
@summefield I took the pictures of the picture takers and thought of you and how much you like to photograph photographers! You would have gotten a kick out these ladies- they started shooting when the fellow on the tractor started to pull and they followed him right down the tract without missing a beat!
How exciting to see photos of my dad's brief residence (he was 2 when they moved from Carbon Co. to Indiana). I have never been to this part of the area before. I love this collage -- great shots. A fav.
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @prttblues Thanks Bev! They came close but didn't win. It really has more to do with the tractor and its torque than the person who's driving it. @dibzgreasley Thanks Debs! It's from Smart Photo Editor- I think it was called grunge or something like that. There are definitely too many things to choose from in that program!! @andrewkru Thank you Andrew and you're welcome! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! @nicoleterheide Thanks Nicole! @la_photographic Thanks Laura! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! They were having fun- especially the blond! @taffy Thank you Taffy! They were fun to watch- especially the groupies! @cimes1 Thanks Carole and thank you for the fav! It is a really pretty area. The fair was being held in a valley between two mountain ridges. One is home to a ski resort. There are probably other vacation attractions too- perhaps a future visit is in store! @di83 Thank you Dianne!
@bill_fe Thanks Bill! This program is called Smart Photo Editor. It was recommended to me by another 365 photographer. It literally has thousands of applications. And the collage program gives you the freedom to do whatever layout you want and apply whatever texture in the back ground that you want. It is a very affordable 29.95 (somewhere in that ball park). I'm very impressed with it!
Thank you for your kind words on my pictures :-)
