My Think Pink 3 picture is in honor of our dear young friend Olivia who is battling lymphoma. Last Saturday she went into the hospital for her last chemo treatment. Hopefully this will finish off the last and most stubborn tumor. If I were a blanket I would love to wrap myself around her and keep her warm with all the love I could give. She is so brave!!
So hard to watch friends family go through something like this. When times were tough I was always comforted by friends and family I don't think I would have survived without them and their encouragement. What I hated most is was seeing my family upset and afraid. I didn't want them to have to feel that.
My apologies for the mass thank you tonight- especially after all those good wishes for Olivia. I have spent most of the evening uninstalling and restoring my laptop after accidentally hitting an update button when I meant to say no- but I'm so proud of myself! I got everything up and running without having to call our tech support guy! As for your thoughts and prayers I am printing out this page tomorrow and sending it along to her so she can see that people all around the world are wishing her well!
@pyrrhula prayer is the best thing! @janiskay I think she probably feels that way too- especially for her younger sister.
Oh, and this special blanket was made by my grandmother and even though I'm not a "pink" girl, I do use it quite often because it does keep you toasty warm!
Ur r so nice. My friend gave me a blanket a long time ago. It had hearts on it that she said would help me remember I was loved. Ur story and photo immediately reminded me.
@vickisfotos Thank you Vicki! Me too- she's only 11 and has already had so many trials in her life. But she is always smiling and has twice the amount of faith that most adults do.
@homeschoolmom Thank you Lisa! We both know that no matter what the answer is God works all things for good! But I am confident that this outcome will be a good one- she's on her way to full health!
