Sun Shower

It rained three times today! The last shower blew in around 5 pm, but the sun did not go behind the clouds, so I decided to grab my camera and see if I could capture the raindrops hitting the leaves. I ended up cropping the shot a bit, because I liked the two leaves with the raindrops about to fall off of them and wanted them to be a little more visible. The back ground was lighter but during the processing it seemed to get darker. All the better for the leaves to stand out I guess!

Nice shot, Ann. The color is so vibrant and I can see the rain coming down as well. I would have gone rainbow hunting and not seen this at all.
