I'm trying to finish off the topics for our photo club's scavenger hunt by the due date. I don't find this year's topics all that inspiring so it's been a bit of a struggle to take photos for it. The title of this shot was one of the topics. To me it's way too broad and who knows what the judge will be looking for. We were at a family wedding this Saturday and the Emcee had all the guests surround the bride and groom during their first dance which seemed appropriate for "those around us". As I (and quite a few others!) were taking our shots, this wedding photographer very discretely shot off a few of his own. I liked the idea of having him in the shot too. I don't know if this is what they meant by this topic, but that's what they're getting from me!
Wow!! I'm overwhelmed by how much you all liked the addition of the photographer. I thought it added a touch of humor into the shot so I'm glad to see how much you liked it as well. I hope the judge of the competition agrees! Thanks for the favs, views and comments- tickled to see it was on the PP for a bit too! You folks really are the best!
