Square September 5

A lovely curl on some vines Bev and I found on our photo walk by the river.

Thanks to the "more informed than I" Katy (@grammyn), all 3 of my cameras are now set to the square format! I really like this challenge and the way it effects the composition of a shot. I looking forward to shooting in now instead of cropping later.

Square can indeed be effective. I didn't realize that some cameras have that format setting. Cool!

LOL! I wouldn't call myself more informed. It is just something I discovered when I was stumbling around my camera. Isn't it so much easier shooting in Square than cropping though? This is a fabulous subject and you get done an excellent job for the challenge

ah, you found the aspect ration function button, didn't you? i was going to tell you yesterday but i had a bad coughing fit and i altogether forgot. i love to look at tendrils and they're nice to photograph with that shallow pov.

You made the vines look so cool! Love it! I never realized how nice square looks. I might have to try and shoot some shots on that setting to see how I like it.
