Old watches- the larger pocket watch was my grandfather's (my mother's side) and the smaller one was my grandmother's (my father's side). the wrist watches were mine.
I think there is so much of a person in the kind of watch they carried and something of their spirit there after being worn next to the skin so long. Now I had a kindergartner playing with a big, square plastic watch, like a happy meal toy I thought until I heard it talking back to him and realized he’d called his mom on his smartphone.
Thank you my friends! I've spent the day working on my photo club's newsletter. It's the first time I've used a template and it was quite a learning curve. I'll be back tomorrow to catch up with you.
