I had a small group from the photo club over last night to play around with fire and take a few shots. It was a lot of fun and we all got some good shots out of it.

Anne I'm so jealous! I have bought all the necessary things But I not yet found an appropriate place for trying. Either there are too many trees or too many people! The beaches of Calabria would have been perfect but I didn't have the things with me! Definitely a great series of pictures. I like this a lot, but I like all of them. Fav
Thank you for all the views, comments and favs! It is so much fun to do them and actually quite easy if you have an assistant. Give it a try- you can do it anywhere. If it's winter it's cold be easier on the spark control. If it's warm, just have a hose or bucket of water handy. There really isn't a fire hazard but it never hurts to be prepared.
@caterina You don't necessarily have to do it in a deserted place. I've seen some really awesome ones done on city streets and urban settings too. I think you just need permission. Go for it!
