Another shot from the photo walk on Saturday. I loved the way the reflections and ripples were juxtaposed against the leaves.
Seems I've popped my knee out of place and won't be taking any photo walks for a while. The chiropractor said he'd never seen my leg so crooked! Only a few more days of the September sooc challenge. Looks like we'll be finishing them off indoors!
A lovely capture and Fall colors begin! Oh noooooo, Ann! Ouch! I hurt my knee in March and it took 3-4 month to improve. It kept locking and then getting swollen and irritated. Hope you got it back in place again!
i can't imagine what you were doing to have the knee pop off like that. i sometimes, out of the blue, whether while walking or getting up, feel the bones getting out of joint, a little uncomfortable but it would nicely pop back in place but not to the point that i wouldn't be able to walk for a long stretch. maybe because i'm from another planet or something. unbelievable that it is already fall and i haven't done any summer photographing. :-)
Oh now, how awful. I am sure you will be able to find some interesting indoor photography though until you are up and running again. You are very creative.
Beautiful shot. The water ripples makes me thing of cobwebs. Sorry to hear about your knee. Wishing you a quick recovery so that you could go out and look for more wonderful pictures.
Thank you all for your views, comments, well-wishes and favs! The knee update is that it's twice its size but today I was able to put a little more pressure on it than yesterday. I'll be back to the chiropractor tomorrow. Until then I massaging it with peppermint and frankincense oils- smells and feels good! They help with the pain and swelling. So I might be out of commission for a while but I'll manage. Thanks again for your get well wishes- they sure mean a lot to me!
this is such a gorgeous shot. I like everything about it. So sorry to read about your knee here. I do hope it is fixable and already showing improvement.
@helenhall Thank you Helen! Slight improvement on the knee- I'll have to be off it for a while if I want it to heal correctly. It's going to take some time which of course I am impatient about!
