@olivetreeann - i actually didn't notice it until you asked and now it's annoying me! :-D kidding aside, i really didn't notice it but looking at it now, you could probably have muted the light a tad bit, but it adds character to the shot. if it was me, i probably could've fixed it in photoshop (if i knew how) or when all else fails, re-shoot!
@wendyfrost Thank you Wendy! @summerfield My thought was to fiddle with it some more- darken it a little bit and if the fiddling doesn't work to reshoot at a different time of day when the sun is not coming through the window. We'll see. Our photo club is taking part in a friendly competition with another club and this may be one of the shots I enter but it has to be perfect! @kwind Thanks Kim! And thanks for the input. I am always second guessing myself.
@olivetreeann Like Vikki said until you called my attention to it I hadn’t given it much thought. I don’t think it would hurt it to tone it down some maybe just clone a little from another part of the spoon or a layer of color to darken it just a bit. I’m sure you’ll figure out something with your mad skills
@grammyn Thanks for the feedback Katy! I'm thinking of putting it in a competition and a judge would definitely notice it so I'll probably do a little more work on it or retake it. We'll see...
@grammyn Oh- lol I thought you meant if I changed the tags!! And that was for the can opener picture- goodness I need to pay better attention to which photos I'm commenting on! The spoon is still the same. I may fiddle with it tomorrow. We'll see...
Thank you Shanne, Brigette, Katy, Mallory, Vikki, Taffy, Shutterbug, Dorre, Dawn, Joan, Marnie, Marilyn, Haskar, Ferry and Kathy!
@grammyn @shutterbug49 Yes, the "rosie" color is from the overhead kitchen lights.
@summerfield I think it's a combo of you just knowing me and the fact I tend to photograph kitchen stuff a lot!
@taffy LOL the only thing you want me driving on a golf course is the golf cart!
@pyrrhula That's my kitchen sink- it's one of my favorite places to photograph things!
