A good friend gave me some digital Scrapbook pages to play around with- and old photos of Thanksgiving at my grandparents' home seemed to fit perfectly with them on our national holiday. Times have certainly changed- I can't believe how many of my relatives were smoking a cigarette right at the Thanksgiving table!
I love this! Great memories. About smoking: I never knew my maternal grandfather as he died of lung disease before I was born. I only have a few photos of him, but he is smoking in EVERY one.

@eudora My maternal grandfather also died of lung cancer. He was a smoker as well.
@louannwarren We dressed up for church and every family gathering on holidays. I used to love getting those patent leather shoes with the little button on the side since I had to wear corrective shoes any other time. I do like the more casual family gatherings we have now, but every now and then I miss how special getting dressed up made things.
