While I was recovering in the hospital Jeff was holding down the fort at home. He cooked, did the laundry and went to work while checking in every day with the nurses to see how I was doing. You can imagine his elation the first day I was able to talk back to him! Even though my voice was weak, it was equal to the first signs of life in Spring when little green plants start poking their way through the dark soil in my garden pots.
Since I was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks I have a lot to catch up on. So I'm posting a chunk today. Please do not feel obligated to comment on them all. I'll only be responding in kind on the current day's photo (May 3). Thanks for checking this one out!
