Sounding Off for Summer

I'm not sure what kind of bush this is that grows between Erick and Becky's house and Elaine's house but the flowers reminded me of trumpets.

Gorgeous trumpets of Summer! I am 99.99..... % this is one of the Weigela shrubs. I used to have the deep red flowered bush ,like this one and also had a variegated leafed bush with a pale pink flower!

I think the flowers do look Weigela like in shape and in the way they are clustered. Maybe the ‘Red Prince’ variety?
