I was fooling around with some of Piknic's processing tools today. This picture was taken back in April when I photographed "The Grand Old Lady" a beautiful dairy barn that is now sitting on state land and abandoned. I took so many pictures that day and really had a tough time deciding which ones to post. Now that I have a second album going, it's nice to be able to put more up.
This amazing tree was composed of several branches that twisted like this. I can't imagine what caused it to grow this way. Sometimes we look at people and say, "What's their problem?" We can't imagine what caused them to "grow that way". If this tree could talk, I'm sure I'd find out why it came to be this way. But trees don't talk. However, people do, and I feel God wants me to take the time to find out more about a person rather than jumping to conclusions that might be wrong. That takes sacrifice on my part. I have to give up my time to learn about them. In the end though, I always find it to be worth the time and sacrifice. Some of the most wonderful people are hiding under twisted branches.
This is very creative way to show the branches of the tree. You are right about people. Sometimes it's just easy to jump to conclusions. But it's improtant to learn more about them first. Thanks for the reminder.
@mrssmith@potsbypam@kerristephens@jmj Thank you all for those affirming comments! I'll probably post the unprocessed version tomorrow, so you can compare.
